Using Phytech 50

After the disinfectant has dried, I cover the entire area with Phytech 50 wound paste. Any high quality "cut paste" from a bonsai store will also work, but beware of the black plastic "Tree Seal" which will actually inhibit healing. A good wound paste will remain pliable in warm weather, when the tree starts growing, and allow the cambium to grow under the paste, never harden and become a barrier to cambium growth.
